How To Be a Success On The Internet - And Make Money

Today I am going to share some very basic info that may shock you!

I’m NOT going to tell you "what you want to hear" to be a success online. I prefer to be 100% honest and upfont. Can you take it?

Ok?… Here we go.

There are actually many secret steps that you must do daily (what I call the Minimum Secrets for your success) remembering these, and having them close by, has been a life saver and put money in my bank account too …

…Ok are you ready for Secret #1

MINIMUM MUST DO SUCCESS SECRET #1:

Here's reality number one, you must be totally focused on your goals or you won't succeed. There must be nothing stopping you from getting what you need to get done.

Nothing.

This is going to be hard to swallow… but it has to be said:

You are responsible for your success, not your job, your friends or anyone else. You are all you have.

No one can ‘force’ you to succeed. If you do succeed it’s because you made the DECISION yourself do it.

Again your closest friends, families and all the tapes andbooks in the world cannot help you make this decision. You need to disipline yourself to do what ** must ** be done. They can cheer you along, but the bottom line is, the buck stops with YOU. You are the reason for your success or failure, period.....

Here's where the rubber meets the road:

What you do daily with your time is very important. You are where you are today, because of your choices yesterday and in the past.

Once I took 100% responsibility, for my time, my past failures, I realised I could not blame anyone but myself for my position in life - then I was FREE.

That's when it hit me, like a ton of bricks... *I* am in control of my destiny.

I decided then and there to set a course of action , I created a plan for my daily success and just plowed ahead.

You don’t stop and question what you’re doing, once you’ve decided on a course of action - you just DO IT.

It's a good idea to stop once in a while to measure your effectiveness, make sure your getting results, but basically you need to be extremely focused-minded. Keep your goal infront of you at all times.

There is really one lesson that is so important. Working from home, on the Internet means you can not slack. YOU are responsible for your income, your work ethics must be better than ever. You can't keep getting side tracked.

There is no ‘boss’ looking over your shoulder telling you what you have to do every minute. You can't afford to watch tv, chat to friends, gossip with neibors etc...

You are 100%, totally on your own.

That means you have to stay focused, keep disciplined, stay positive and you will need strength to carry on with your plans despite any or all setbacks, feeling tired, any and all excuses, etc, etc…and you must follow your plan.

You need to be careful, don't fall into the trap of taking it easy, watching a bit of tv here and there. If you have no discipline and no plan you will fail. Don't fly by the seat of your pants and end up broke.

Ok enough of the negative stuff, I know your all asking so how do I get this ball rolling?

You gotta get that spiral note book out the one they sell for .30 cents at target and write down a plan for your business!!!

For instance, part of your plan will be to daily make quality content so the search engines will keep you ranked etc. so you....

write an article a day to post to your website or your blog… you DO IT no matter how you feel or what happens, you need to JUST DO IT (as the nike people say).

If you need to write a message to your opt-in ezine list, unless your computer fails and your hard disc crashes, you JUST DO IT.

If you need to place some more advertising dollars to google ad words or what ever to generate leads for your business, but you’re too busy doing something else, you’re going to fail… so you JUST DO IT ANYWAY.

Remember, there’s no boss, no one is going to tell you this is a dead line..so maybe for the first time in your life you will have to be responsible - for better of for worse.

If you decide that watching TV is more important, or going shopping (I know you other ladies love shopping, I certainly do, that's another story)...anyway you get the picture, if something other than working on your web business comes up, becomes your priority, then you’re not disciplined enough to create your own web business and SUCCEED.

You have to change… you have to take control (of yourself!) and you have to take responsibility for your time. Your time is all you have, use it wisely.

TIP: Here's what helps me... I use my outlook calendar to make sure daily I add an article or what ever I have written in my plan. Then when the clock strikes, that is what I do without interruptions for the full time it takes, NO MATTER WHAT.... Use your calendar it will help you to stay on track....
